Miami-Dade County says the GTA VI marketing and advertising package is valued at $3.9 million. It includes a direct agreement with Rockstar Games and separate advertising purchases through companies that manage placements at Miami International Airport and on the county transportation system.

Planned installations include themed lighting at Miami International Airport and PortMiami, displays on airport pedestrian walkways and wraps on selected traffic-signal cabinets. The County says the earlier Welcome to Vice City rooftop display at Kaseya Center was part of a $975,000 arrangement included in the package, with those county funds allocated toward the planned public park at Dan Paul Plaza.
